Cumbria Cross Country Series 2011/12. Penrith

Race no 2 Starting at Frenchfields in Penrith. I travelled down on my own  for this one. When i arived i soon met up with friends who i have ran with in previous races. Stu Stod of Eden runners who i wished well from his Sister in Wigton only to find he was out with Man Flu, but he took some fine Photos on the day also met up with Ray and his wife from Wigton Road Runners just ashame we could not get more Runners from Wigton for Team points, There were also the Carlisle Lads always good crack and as one of Stu"s Photos show there was a bit of  holding back at the start Garry Dixon looking a bit Sus. The race was 4 laps which i found realy tough, but at least the weather was good  a bit Breezy but dry. Thanks to Stu for the Photos.

My Results show wrong on the above sheet. Actual time was 36:11 with a 2.30 Handicap making my Time 38:41. I should have been a BH  after getting moved up after the Cockermouth Race.
